SUSAB Latvia Branch has been active in forest management in Latgale since 2014, managing 56,000 hectares of forest and agricultural land owned by private investors and forest funds. Our offices are located in Rezekne and Madona.
Forest Management and Client Services
Our team of 8 forest managers and 2 assistants, all with higher education in forestry and agriculture, handle planning, management, administration, and reporting for client forests.
They are experienced in practical forestry, logging, and silviculture, and communicate with clients in English.
Accounting, Wood Sales, and Local Industry
SUSAB’s accountants manage all bookkeeping and administration for Latvian SIA companies. Wood sales are mainly through cutting rights for high-value species, while other wood assortments are supplied to local industry in Latgale,
leveraging established business relationships.
Innovation in Land Transformation
We have introduced methods to convert former agricultural land into forest, reducing costs and creating better conditions for new plantations to thrive.
